The Dangerous Shore is a book that grew out of the research that Lone Wolf Media did for a 3-part Smithsonian and Paramount+ documentary about the USS Eagle 56, which was sunk by a German U-Boat less than 6 miles off the Maine coast in the final weeks of WWII. Kirk has worked with Sarah Vladic as a story consultant on this book. It is a very entertaining read, and it touches on a lot of the stories of WWII that Kirk has told over the years. The book will be out on March 10th, but the publisher (St. Martin’s Press/McMillan) is running a presale order now for a 29% discount. It will also be available as an audio book narrated by John Bedford Lloyd.
